61 Verses
Our former House Manager (and now current volunteer♥) many years ago put together a list of verses for the Pearls to help them with their walk with the Lord.
a new way to live following Jesus
Hi – my name is Alyson and I am a previous Pearl. I’d like to share my new realization moment with y’all. So a few months back my life was just totally falling apart. I didn’t know what &/or where I had gone wrong, I have to carry a backpack that has all my belongs inside 99% of the time, nowhere to sleep, still an outsider. So I figured I’d do what I did when I was happy and that meant that I miss my relationship with God. It’s the little things in life.
Praise the Lord!
We praise the Lord for the victories in the lives of the women at Wings of God Transition Home!
Message of Hope at Christmas
Each year a local landscaping company donates their time and skills to make the home festive for the season! We hope our neighbors enjoy the display, but we also know that lights and garland and bows have an impact on the women who live here.
The Holy Spirit and Recovery
God’s Spirit supplies everything necessary for successful recovery!
Covid Comes to Wings of God & Virtual Benefit Dinner Update
Covid has come to Wings of God
We had one Pearl and one staff member recently sick and both tested positive for Covid. Thankfully no one else has tested positive or have been sick. We were prepared though! We are following an established protocol for such a situation.

Are you wrestling with God?
Celebrating our Virtual Benefit Dinner
Praising God our Virtual Benefit Dinner was amazing! We are so proud of our Pearls and so proud of our Team! Of course, we all had SOME nervousness. You are really putting yourself out there doing something live and something that is going to be on the internet forever! At the same time, we prayed over this event and for each other. We prepared – and we are celebrating how it all turned out!
Second Chances
Angelina contacted Wings of God and asked for a second chance, was accepted, and arrived from prison on February 13, 2020. She says her stay this time is different because she feels a connection to God, has a true relationship with Him, and a sense of peace she hasn’t had before.
A Day with the Pearls from the Perspective of the House Manager
“The best part of my day is when I spend one on one time with them sharing my experience and my love of God. I refer to bible verses that relate to our topic of conversation and I can visually see how they process and understand the Word of God. It is like a light bulb that shines in the darkness as they realize how God is speaking to them.”
