My name is Sue Barber and I have the privilege of serving as a Chaplain and Board Member for the Wings of God. While it is my responsibility to present a “lesson” for the Pearls… it is I who receives the blessing during our time of sharing. Several weeks ago, I asked each of the Pearls to share a unique “gift or quality” that they saw in the other Pearls.

From my heart, I want to share the direction of my thoughts for Mother’s Day this year. My thoughts are heavy as I think of mothers and children that are separated from one another. The separation can be because of death, incarceration, lost custody, deployment, addiction, adoption, and many other reasons.
During these times of us under lock down, we are to draw closer to God. Surrender our old ways of living and look forward to a new way of living and trusting our Father. So let go and let God lead us through our human experience.
It was just a couple of weeks ago that the women at Wings of God took a drive to Silver Beach in St. Joseph, MI.
We wanted to give everyone an update on how the Pearls and staff at Wings of God are doing during the Covid-19 quarantine. The answer is – we are all doing well! Our Pearls are doing wonderful, with amazing grace, settling into the “new normal”
