My name is Amy Barajas I am the 3rd graduate of Wings of God. On 1/06/22 I celebrated 8yrs of sobriety and I could not have made it to this milestone without the community around me. Community to me is my WOG family, my church family, my recovery family, and people who have cheered me on.

My community has been an anchor for me. Community gave me stability as my life has transformed from addiction into recovery. It was very scary for me to attempt a life without drugs let alone maintain it as a way of life. Having people around that I could talk to, seek advice, and help me to navigate through obstacles was/still is vital for my success. Thank you for cheering me on and encouraging me to walk upright, to love freely, and to be who God designed me to be.
