Cassandra gave a beautiful testimony at the Wings of God 2022 Benefit Dinner. Cassandra’s joy spilled over to everyone as she shared her gratitude to God for her life!
“I want to give honor to Wings of God and thank them for the opportunity to share about the goodness of our God and how He used Wings to change my life and move me towards His plan for me!
Before Wings I was living a very depraved life. I was a meth addict, I was a criminal, I had lost custody of my children, I was in a very dark place to say the least.
My crimes landed me in jail (thank God) and that is how I found out about Wings and decided to go.”
Now I’m not perfect by any means, But God says He is faithful and just to finish the work He started in me! He has a plan and a purpose for my life! He says i am LOVED!
Living at Wings was an experience I am so grateful I had. Being there around strong God fearing Christians, hearing the Word of God everyday, experiencing God’s Love through the staff consistently … (even when I was a hot mess , seriously…) It created the foundation of faith i stand on today and changed the trajectory of my life. THANK YOU JESUS!
Psalm 40:2 says
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
That is what God did for me!
Wings has impacted not just me but my children! My family has been restored!
Now my children are going to have an inheritance in Christ!!!
This month [October 2022] I will be 6 years clean.
This month [October 2022] am getting married!
God is a restorer!
Before I was lost, searching, trying to satisfy myself with relationships, drugs, promiscuity, spirituality and in so much bondage.
Now I’m not perfect by any means, but God says He is faithful and just to finish the work He started in me! He has a plan and a purpose for my life! He says I am LOVED!”
