During these days of the corona-virus, for many of us,  we are attending church services through Facebook, Youtube and Zoom on Sundays. At Wings of God, the Pearls Sunday morning worship service is also streamed into the living room. But a couple of Sundays ago – Kristina, a beautiful Pearl who has been living at Wings of God for the past three months, shared a sermon live – in person right there in the living room.  She shared a message prepared from her heart based on her daily studies in the Word of God, and from conversations she has with her sponsor. Kristina said she was nervous, yet she put on her lovely spring dress, and with joy shared words of faith and encouragement. Here is an excerpt:

“During these times of us under lock down, we are to draw closer to God. Surrender our old ways of living and look forward to a new way of living and trusting our Father. So let go and let God lead us through our human experience.

Colossians 2:17  “…rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Let our roots grow down into Christ and draw nourishment from him. So that we go on growing in the Lord and become strong and vigorous in the truth. So that we will have an eternal spiritual life after.”

Our priority is to introduce our residents to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and disciple them in the word of God. Learn more about the mission and our committment to the women at Wings of God:  https://wingsofgodinc.org/our-mission/
