My name is Sue Barber and I have the privilege of serving as a Chaplain and Board Member for the Wings of God. While it is my responsibility to present a “lesson” for the Pearls… it is I who receives the blessing during our time of sharing.
 Several weeks ago, I asked each of the Pearls to share a unique “gift or quality” that they saw in the other Pearls.
 
Here are some of their responses…..

· Trina is full of wisdom and understanding. “Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding” Proverbs 4:6-7

· Kristina has the gift of mediation as she listens to both sides of the story. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3: 5-6

· Jena has a non-judgmental spirit and keeps things light! “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you”  Matthew 7:1-2

 ·Angie has a great sense of humor and loves to worship the Lord. “He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy” Job 8:21 

Can you imagine what the Lord can..and will do, with these gifts as they are multiplied for His Kingdom!
 
Heavenly Father… please direct and empower each of our Pearls through the work of the Holy Spirit, as they learn to use their unique gifts to love, honor, and serve others in their family, their church and their community.
