Welcome Jodie – House Manager
We are delighted to introduce Jodie, our new House Manager at Wings of God Transition Home! Joining our ministry in April 2024, Jodie has quickly become an incredible blessing to our Pearls, staff, and volunteers.
Laura’s Testimony
“My family has seen the change in me and the Lord has restored those relationships!”
Tanya’s Testimony
I am a positive role model to the current Pearls when I fill in as staff and when I share my experiences, strength, and hope with them.
God Had Bigger Plans
“I knew God had bigger plans for me even as I sat in jail. “
Words from the Heart
I am happy to be an older woman teaching younger women how to live godly lives as I am instructed to do in Titus Chapter 2.
Quilts Made with Love & Prayers
Each quilt is created in colors the Pearls love, the pattern is chosen as I feel led, and each one is prayed over during the piecing, quilting, and finishing.
All of my dreams are coming true!
Working at Wings of God was good for the Pearls and for me. Just staying connected with Wings of God was beneficial, the Pearls could relate to me, and I believe I inspired them to see the big picture — a picture of not only hope and recovery but also accomplishment.
Stopping the Revolving Door of Jail
Recidivism is defined as a tendency to relapse into a previous condition or mode of behavior, especially relapse into criminal and addictive behavior. Often percentages are given as a rate of recidivism. It’s measured differently by different groups so it’s very difficult to give an actual percentage. I’m told it’s around 76%. This high percentage should concern everyone.
Healing Trauma Training
The objective of this workshop was to train the Wings of God staff to help minister to the Pearls who experienced childhood trauma in their past.
I Am Walking His Path
“I feel like a new person.”
“Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.”
Psalm 63:7
