I just went to my very first Ashes to Beauty Women’s Encounter in Lebanon, MO. I was invited by my mentor, Amy French, and sponsored by women in her church at New Community in Lawton, MI!
I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to attend and had an amazing experience meeting new sisters in Christ along the way.
God is very intentional, and I know without a doubt He had my seat assigned for me before I even got there! I was able to truly forgive others in my life that I have been struggling with for years, but more importantly, I was able to acknowledge my parts and am now aware that I, too, need to seek forgiveness from others.
With the Lord’s help, healing is finally underway with certain members in my family, and attending Ashes to Beauty helped jump-start that!
Thank you to New Community, Amy French, and Jeff and Sheila Brawley, Ashes to Beauty Founders, but most importantly, thank you, God, for this amazing life-changing encounter with Christ!
